ABOUT ME

Hello There! Never thought I’d be living my dream being a wedding photographer. It was instant LOVE when I first picked up my first camera in high school. This is where I told my photography teacher this is exactly what I want to do. I wanted to be a photographer. Unfortunately he stated that I should not. He instead persuaded me to go to college and become a graphic designer. Followed his words and after finishing college, I’ve worked as a web designer/developer for a local design firm in downtown Honolulu for 9 years.

Fast forward from 1995 to 2004 to which I was first introduced to the wedding industry photographing my first wedding. I was completely hooked. The joy, the love, and witnessing the emotions of a couple throughout the day is what made me realize that I found my true passion. It was being in the present time to capture the moments between a couple and creatively being inspired by their love. One of the important factors I’ve learned from year after year documenting a wedding after wedding is the ability to be responsive to my surroundings and being able to capture spontaneous moments as they occur each second. My goal to let my imagery tell your visual story from start to end and to be sure that every detail from a rose petal to the last dance of the night will be captured.

When I’m not behind the camera, I am usually hanging out with my wife and daughters (3 beautiful girls), having a tea party with my girls, bike riding and rollerblading, playing dress-up, watching football, building play houses, reading books to my kids, gardening, djing on twitch, making music, fishing or just simply laying around the house dreaming of ways to boost my creativity.
